Laurel – August 12, 2013: U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) will visit the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) Tuesday, August 13, 2013 for a briefing on its efforts to upgrade both the water and sewer systems, and to discuss federal options for improving our nation’s aging water infrastructure.

He will also tour the Patuxent Water Filtration Plant.
