WSSC Helps Seniors Tap into Benefits of Water at Health & Fitness Day

Laurel – May 22, 2012: Representatives from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) will be talking to senior citizens about the health benefits of drinking tap water, and distributing consumer information promoting health and wellness at the 2012 Senior Health and Fitness Day. The event is taking place at the Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Complex, in Landover, on Wednesday, May 23, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is in celebration of Older Americans Month and National Senior Health & Fitness Day.

This will be the fifth year of WSSC’s involvement with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s Senior Health and Fitness Day.
