Understanding the SLMBE Appendix A	Understanding the SLMBE Appendix A for MBE/SLBE/SLMBE Participation and the Good Faith Efforts Guide Training Course Description/Overview/Purpose Implementation of the new SLMBE Programs (Standard Procedures MBE 11-01 and SLBE 12-01) has required the development of a comprehensive Appendix A and Good Faith Efforts Guide. Appendix A is the section in WSSC Solicitations, which details MBE, SLBE and SLMBE participation on WSSC-funded contracts. All Prime Vendors/Suppliers are required to address subcontract participation determined by the SLMBE Office for proposals to be deemed responsible and responsive. This training course will help vendors/suppliers understand the information presented in Appendix A and how to prepare their response to the requested participation goals/requirements. Who Should Attend? The target audience for this training includes, but is not limited to the following: -ALL Current WSSC Prime Vendors/Suppliers - ALL Current WSSC Subcontractors -ALL Aspiring Prime Vendors/Suppliers and/or Subcontractors Parking Information Parking is available in the front of WSSC's RGH Building and directly across from the building. Both parking lots are open all day and there is no fee. Upon entering the building, please inform the security officers that you are here to attend training with the SLMBE Office. They will contact the SLMBE Office, direct you and/or escort you to the elevators. Training will be held in the Training Conference Room located on the Lower Level (Room LK120) Floor. For security reasons, please bring appropriate identification i.e., Driver's License. All visitors to the building must pass through a security checkpoint monitored by officers.
