Laurel, Md. – October 14, 2025 – WSSC Water Commissioners are holding their monthly meeting virtually on Wednesday, October 15, beginning at 10 a.m. The virtual meeting is open to the public and available for viewing via livestream from WSSC Water’s website.  

This month’s agenda includes scheduled votes on multiple initiatives focused on delivering financial relief to customers – including those impacted by recent government actions. Commissioners are also scheduled to vote on more than $170 million in contracts to upgrade critical infrastructure and improve service delivery. The list of all contracts and meeting presentations is on WSSC Water’s website

Commissioner Jeffrey M. Seltzer, representing Montgomery County, will participate in his first meeting. He was appointed by County Executive Marc Elrich and sworn in on October 3.

The meeting includes a call-in option to ensure interested stakeholders can provide input. Those wishing to speak should call in at the beginning of the comments section, which begins shortly after 10 a.m. Callers will be admitted from the lobby when it is their turn to speak.
