Laurel, MD (March 31, 2008): Beginning April 1, 2008, the Acquisition Office of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) will be posting all contracting opportunities on the new Centralized Bidder Registration (CBR) System.
Bidders and others interested in receiving announcements of bidding opportunities for commodities, services, technology, construction, architectural and engineering services and professional services solicitations can register online at the CBR.
WSSC has designed a registration process that is user friendly and will improve notification of contracting opportunities. The new online site will consolidate bid lists that were maintained in three different locations and will be able to identify potential bidders by utilizing the North American Industry Codes (NAIC) coding scheme. For more information about the system or details about the registration process, visit www.wsscwater.com/business. If you are ready to register you can visit www.cbr-wssc.com.
| One: |
Register some basic information about your business.
|
| Two: |
Select the Product and/or services classification areas that fit your business NAICS code.
|
| Three: |
Wait for the email notices to be delivered to your inbox.
|
Bid documents are available to registered bidders at the CBR website and can be downloaded. Registering is the only way you will receive the email announcement of bidding opportunities and registering will ensure that you receive updates or amendments to bid documents if they occur.
WSSC DOORS ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS - SEE YOU IN THE BID ROOM.
For questions about the Centralized Bidder Registration (CBR) System, contact the WSSC Acquisition Office at (301) 206-8288 or email AcquistionOffice@wsscwater.com.
