LAUREL, MD (March 6, 2008): The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) will host its fifth Vendor Day, an outreach program developed earlier this year to help Small, Local and Minority Business Enterprises (SLMBEs) identify contractual opportunities with WSSC through a series of in-depth education and training workshops.
The Vendor Day event will take place Wednesday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to noon, in Room LK-120-121 at WSSC’s Headquarters, 14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, Maryland.
The WSSC speakers represent the following offices: Human Resources, Communications, Intergovernmental Relations, Legal, Acquisition and Strategic Systems Management Office (SSMO).
Previous sessions featured the Infrastructure Systems, Logistics, Acquisition and Information Technology departments.
For more information on WSSC’s Vendor Days program and a complete Vendor Day schedule, please contact WSSC’s Small, Local and Minority Business Office at (301) 206-8800.
