Chief Information Technology Implementation Officer
The Information Technology Implementation Office is responsible for leading and directing functional and technical implementation teams consisting of WSSC staff, consultants, and implementation support organizations. This office also provides for the day-to-day oversight and management of all IT enterprise system implementation initiatives within the Commission. The Information Technology Implementation Office is responsible for using system implementation methodologies to streamline and redesign various technologies and business systems that extend across all Commission functional areas and lines of business.

Sr. Manager, Innovation & Advanced Analytics
The Innovation & Advanced Analytics team is responsible for out-of-the-box thought leadership and for developing IT research initiatives to leverage new technology opportunities in order to advance WSSC’s operational mission. The team is responsible for introducing new and more effective technology applications targeted at WSSC’s business problems. Their R&D projects include the areas of spatial analytics, process optimization, and innovative service delivery paradigms.

Sr. Manager, Network Infrastructure & Data Center Operations
The Network Infrastructure & Data Center Operations team provides day-to-day oversight and management of the Commission’s data centers, mainframe operations, data network, and telecommunications infrastructure. This includes management of a 24/7/365 mission-critical data center and infrastructure operations, including oversight of related infrastructure activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, starting from requirements gathering through implementation, and to all subsequent ongoing production and on-call support.

IT Customer Support
The IT Customer Support division (CSD) provides technical and other IT related support to the 1,500 Commission users in the Laurel headquarters office and the other 13 depots/sites. This organization is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and supporting all Commission desktop initiatives and operations, IT Inventory/Asset Management and IT Service Request and Delivery. The group also ensures the user problems and resource requests are addressed as expeditiously and effectively as possible in order to maintain business criticality and functionality. These operations attempt to maintain the implementation of services which sometimes require escalation to various IT teams.
CSD also serves as the liaison between senior management and business units when appropriate. The CSD team is constantly making sure the users are provided with appropriate services in the areas of hardware computing, software maintenance, innovative means of maintaining adequate security technology and standards or desktops, laptops and other mobile devices. This team also has the responsibility of overseeing the long term strategic management of software and licensing needs generally used by the company.

IT Risk and Information Management
The IT Risk and Information Management division manages and develops the strategic direction for WSSC’s enterprise information technology security framework and activities, provides oversight to compliance with the appropriate security regulations, reduces corporate technology exposure and provides project management and security subject matter expertise for Information Technology initiatives. The Division monitors technology security compliance with WSSC’s policies and procedures and with applicable laws and regulations. It is also responsible for project management of all IT security related initiatives.

Enterprise Architect
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for managing the Commission’s enterprise architecture and the evolution of enterprise information technology in WSSC. He works closely with business and all IT Divisions to ensure consistency with WSSC’s enterprise architecture framework developed to enable WSSC's business objectives. He is accountable for designing and planning of the enterprise technology roadmaps which includes the business systems and the integration and collaboration of technology infrastructure services.
The Enterprise Architect defines the future state of information technology in WSSC, including the roadmap for migration from less efficient legacy business solutions to new business solutions. He works closely with all project teams to ensure business systems and technology solutions are implemented to WSSC standards and business best practices.

IT Contract Administrator
The IT Contract Administrator will coordinate with WSSC’s Acquisition Office and will be responsible for the intake, acceptance, verification, review and maintenance of all enterprise IT contracts, statements of work and proposals. This individual will work as a contractual liaison between acquisition groups, IT technical groups, compliance groups, legal and budget office, and the vendor contacts. Working closely with the Acquisition Office, he/she will provide various acquisition services to the WSSC IT community. He/she will also negotiate, write and update detailed contracts and assist in enforcing the proper procedure for approval and payment of all supplier activities. The IT Contract Administrator will identify areas of risk in WSSC’s IT relationships and contracts, mitigating those risks wherever possible and notifying where it is not possible to effectively mitigate. This person will also be responsible for working with suppliers to manage ongoing supplier relationships, to review vendor performance and to renegotiate terms where appropriate.
