WSSC's Native Plant Garden for Butterflies and Birds

BugWith help from CIVICUS, WSSC created a native garden for butterflies and birds at Brighton Dam, 2 Brighton Dam Road, Brookville, MD 20833.

Butter FlyThe site at Brighton Dam was chosen because those who wish to boat, hunt and/or horseback on WSSC's watershed property must have a watershed permit which can be purchased at the Visitors' Cabin at Brighton Dam.

The garden is 15’ by 30’. The plants are native to Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region, including:
