The proposed changes to portions of the Pipeline Design Manual are under review by the Commission. In addition to the review, current developer plans with notes attached indicating they would be subject to those changes, if enacted, will NOT be subject to any changes.

The proposed changes would establish an 80-foot setback from specific large diameter water mains. This would provide an extra layer of protection to reduce risks to public safety and complement our more frequent and state-of-the-art inspections, monitoring and repairs of large water transmission lines.
