SMALL, LOCAL, AND MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (SLMBE) PROGRAM
MISSION STATEMENTThe SLMBE Office is dedicated to creating and inclusive purchasing Environment while building sustainable relationships; expanding opportunities; and cultivating growth of small, local minority business enterprises which adds value to the Commission and Community we serve SMALL, LOCAL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (SLBE) PROGRAMIn an effort to increase the participation of small and local firms in the procurement of goods and services, the WSSC has established a Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) Program. The program is race and gender neutral and emphasis is to encourage economic growth by offering benefits to small firms headquartered in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. To participate in the SLBE Program your net worth cannot exceed $250,000.00; your average net income after federal taxes cannot exceed $100,000.00 and your principal place of business or a significant employee presence must be in Montgomery or Prince George's County Maryland. | WSSC VENDOR DAYS TO START SEPTEMBER 27TH |
| The SLMBE Office will host networking sessions in Business Development and Matchmaking Workshops that will help Build Relationships with Key Commission Departments |
| Each “Vendor Day” is designed to prepare businesses to compete and inform them of planned contracting opportunities. These workshops are geared towards educating and training businesses on how to do business with the Commission and learn about its business policies and procedures. Every event will be held at the RGH Building, 14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, Maryland, unless, otherwise noted. Registration is required for attendance!
