The WSSC's Small, Local, and Minority Business
Enterprise (SLMBE) Program consists of
four areas where small, local, and minority business firms can concentrate their efforts in obtaining contractual
consideration. These areas are Procurement, Architectural and Engineering, Professional Services
and Construction.
Lobbyist Registration Information
WSSC adopted a Code of Ethics which, among other things,
requires lobbyists to register and file reports regarding
lobbyist activity with the Board of Ethics. Click on the links

Development Services

the water and sewer extension process and the permitting process. Permit Services is
now a part of the Development Services Group. Please click here to

Regulatory Services
The Regulatory Services Group is responsible
for implementation of a federally mandated pretreatment program and enforcement of
the Plumbing and Gasfitting Regulations. The Group regulates industrial
discharges into the sewer system, samples discharges from Industrial
Users, conducts investigations, and responds to spills of hazardous
materials entering the sewer system. In addition, the Group
inspects the work of plumbers, gas fitters, septic haulers, and
cross connection mechanics in the Sanitary District; and manages
the fats, oils, and grease program, the cross connection control
program, and the onsite and mechanical plans review processes.
WSSC Engineering Records/Information
Due to security considerations, potential contractors and
subcontractors requiring access to WSSC engineering
records/information - including bid documents - must first fill
out the form on this site and go through our application process.
Only approved individuals will have access to this information.
