| Purpose: |
This outdoor festival will provide hands-on learning about
water issues, the environment, and the impact our day-to-day habits have on the availability and quality of water -- life’s most precious resource. The event is being held in conjunction with “National Drinking Water Week,” which is recognized annually in the first week of May.

| Attendees: |
300 fourth grade students and their teachers each day from Prince George’s County and Montgomery County Public Schools. Schools will be selected by a random drawing. |
| Details: |
Applications will be available on November 5, 2007 and the deadline for submittal will be January 31, 2008. The random drawing will be held March 2008. Attendees should dress appropriately for the weather, as this is a rain or shine event. |
